DETAILS

2.5 acre woodland and amazing bridge.

This is a 105ft (32m) tall viaduct, originally built as a single track railway in 1867. It carried the Rochdale To Bacup line and operated to passengers until 1949, and carried coal trains until 1965. More recently it's been converted to a cycle route and offers stunning views over the woods.
