REGISTER A LOCATION WITH AMAZING SPACE

REGISTER A LOCATION WITH AMAZING SPACE

Amazing Space has a wonderfully diverse portfolio of film locations and we’re always looking for new spaces to offer our clients for their next shoot. Your property might be incredibly ordinary or wonderfully extraordinary — either way, it could be a great fit for filming and photoshoots.

We carefully curate the locations we take on, so it’s important your space is shown clearly when registering. For more guidance on how to showcase your property for consideration, or what to expect as a shoot location, please see our FAQs below.

To get started, just head to the next step and fill in your details — it only takes a few minutes.

The team will review your space and will be in touch if the property is registered on the library. Please note, that due to the number of registrations we receive, we’re not able to accept all properties but look forward to receiving your application.

FAQs FOR LOCATION OWNERS

What makes a good shoot location?

A great shoot location isn't just about looks (though that helps) — it's about a space that works well for crews. It doesn't need to be large, but should comfortably accommodate cast, crew, and equipment.

Natural light is a big advantage, especially for photography.

The most successful locations also have flexible owners who can adapt to the needs of different productions.

Do I need a large or unusual property?

Not at all. We take on all kinds of locations — from everyday family homes to larger commercial spaces, farms, schools and more.

The main thing is that there's enough space to comfortably accommodate cast, crew, and equipment.

What photos should I include in my registration?

Clear, well-lit landscape images are essential. Try to photograph each room from a few angles and include any standout features such as kitchens, living areas, bedrooms, gardens, and exterior views.

Professional photography is a big plus, but good-quality phone images taken in natural light can also work well.

Please avoid taking photos at night or using the 0.5 camera lens on iPhones.

Will my property definitely be accepted?

Due to the number of submissions we receive, we're not able to take on every property.

Is it free to register with Amazing Space?

It's completely free to register with Amazing Space Locations.

If a booking confirms, Amazing Space takes 20% commission from the total location hire fee.

What happens if my property is accepted?

Your property will be added to our location library, and you'll be notified via email with a link to your listing and a copy of our Owners Guide.

Your location will then be ready to be presented to clients when suitable briefs become available.

We'll guide you through the process and be on hand to support you throughout any bookings.

What kinds of shoots could take place at my property?

Film, TV dramas, commercials, and photoshoots can all take place at your property, ranging from small teams to larger productions.

We'll always share full details before anything is confirmed.

What can I expect if my property is used for a shoot?

Productions will usually carry out a recce and technical recce beforehand to make sure the space works for their needs.

If the booking goes ahead, Amazing Space will draw up a detailed hire agreement covering all agreed terms, including shoot hours, areas being used, cast and crew size, rates, and any additional requirements.

Production will typically have exclusive use of the property during the shoot, and it will be returned to its original condition afterwards.

We’ll be on hand throughout to guide you and help ensure everything runs smoothly. Please note that every shoot is different.

What are recces?

A recce is a pre-shoot visit to check whether a location could work for a production.

A technical recce takes place before filming and allows the crew to plan where and how to set up equipment.

Will I need to move out during filming?

This depends on the scale of the shoot, but in many cases the production will require exclusive use of the space.

We’ll always discuss this with you in advance and agree terms that work for everyone.

Is my home insured during filming?

Yes. Production companies carry public liability insurance, which covers any damage or third-party claims during filming.

We also hold a deposit to cover smaller fixes where required.

How often will my property be used?

There’s no guarantee of bookings, but we’ll put your property forward whenever it’s a good match for a brief.

Some locations are used frequently, while others receive bookings more occasionally.

How much can I earn?

Fees vary depending on the type of shoot, the size and style of your property, and how it’s used.

We’ll always agree rates with you in advance.

When can I expect payment for a shoot?

We typically make payment within 2–3 working days after a shoot to ensure there are no additional costs, such as overtime or damages, that need to be included in the payment.

If a location requires payment before the start date, we can arrange this if needed.

Being a shoot location can be a fantastic experience, as well as a great way to make some extra income. Every shoot is different, and the Amazing Space team are here to guide you through the process and are always on hand if you have any questions.
