The Jacobs Building is an award?winning, purpose?built facility designed by CameronWebster Architects and opened in 2016. Offering a clean, contemporary aesthetic with flexible interiors, it serves as an ideal base for film productions. The building centres around a large, open?plan entrance hall with level access, featuring a spacious kitchen, dining area, lounge, and a woodburning stove—perfect for crew use, holding, green rooms, and production office setup. Two additional spaces, The Monument Trust Room and The Robertson Trust Room, extend from the main hall. These versatile rooms can support a wide range of production needs including cast holding, wardrobe, hair and makeup, rehearsals, small?scale sets, interviews, screenings, workshops, or private production meetings. The building also includes a reference library and study area, two offices, e?bike storage, and a laundry room. The Monument Trust Room: a generous, light?filled space with sliding glass doors that open directly onto a balcony. The balcony features outdoor dining furniture and captures expansive views across Loch Long and towards the Firth of Clyde—ideal for scenic shots or outdoor setup. The Robertson Trust Room: a flexible multi?use space with stunning views over Loch Long, complete with pocket doors for privacy and sound separation from the rest of the Jacobs Building.
