There are two beautiful fireplaces as well, the front one is made from St Anne's marble and in fully working condition, with the back one in Victorian marbleised slate.
Two bay windows and a glass door look out from the dining room onto the lovely south facing, mature garden which has walls on two sides, a grand pergola, reclaimed London stock brick patio, checkerboard quarry tile side alley and raised beds which are full of flowers, vines, fruits and vegetables year round. There is a beautiful wrought iron garden furniture set and a Lutyens bench too.
Upstairs the bathroom has tiled marble floors and walls, a roll top bath with shower and Victorian style fixtures. There are plenty of house plants there, and throughout the house.
The generous master bedroom also has a bay window with original wooden sashes, full length William Morris curtains and several more pieces of antique furniture. Beautiful and comfortable additional spaces can be found in the middle guest room and attic space, which has an additional shower and toilet facilities.
The study, which is south facing, also has its own bay window and cafe curtains. As well as plenty of vintage books, seating and two gallery walls.
