Cottage Farmhouse
Gilar House is nestled in 500 acres of mountainous farmland with ancient woodlands, lakes and unrivalled views from the top. Part-Tudor, part-Elizabethan the farmhouse has oak panelled rooms, plaster armorial shields, feature fireplaces, exposed beams, stone and wooden floors, steep and quirky staircases and even the original beam-door-lock from the 1600s. Outside and along the cobbled garden path, you’ll find the beautiful 1623 gatehouse.
