A characterful property with a vintage interior, wood panelling and bespoke furnishings.
Built and designed in 1930 by local furniture manufacturer Joe Bould after the original farmhouse was demolished in the 1930s, this property has incorporated beautiful wooden panelling on the ground floor, and the traditional look has been upheld by the current owners, with vintage furniture and classic decor throughout.
There is a reception area, a family room, personal study, dining room and sitting room. The sitting room incorporates three different types of wood, whilst the dining room features fluted wood panels with a drop-down writing desk next to the library bookshelf. The stairs are carpeted, and feature a beautifully crafted solid wood banister, and again wood panelling.
The kitchen space retains some elements of the original construction, and has a traditional, farmhouse-style look. There is also a large conservatory attached to the property, as well as a large Cedarwood greenhouse filled with plants and gardening materials, and an impressive Black Hamburg grapevine which is now over 80 years old.
The garden is spacious, with plenty of room for filming and photoshoots, as well as providing a bright, varied background of stone walls and flowerbeds. There is also a patio area, and 67 Camellias planted around the garden which are stunning when in flower.
