The Hall is surrounded by 700 acres of private park and woodland. The current owners have had the house in their family and been the custodians of the land for over 590 years, since 1430. The grounds of the property contain two beautiful lakes, as well as majestic oak-lined avenues that radiate out from the main hall. At the rear of the house, there are landscaped gardens that date back to 1700, and many of the original oak trees still survive today. Beyond the inner park, the landscape transitions into a furrow pasture and woodland border on the horizon.
