This location is a private members' club within a Queen Anne-style townhouse built in the early 1950s by the prominent property developer Rudolph Palumbo. Originally the Palumbo family's offices, it opened as a private members' club in 2000 under Lord Palumbo, overseen and designed by Mark Birley – the only Club Birley designed but never owned. The interiors and artwork blend Birley's style with the Palumbo family's, combining classic sophistication with contemporary flair. The rooms include; a bar, phone booth (called 'the tardis'), a private room called the Oak Room (table & chairs designed by the famous Bauhaus architect Mies van der Rohe), the Green Room (a windowed private room, William Morris Green wallpaper), the Main Dining Room (in its own 'Walbrook Pink Colour', featuring a purposely painted 'cracked' ceiling by artist Richard Wentworth).
