Old Timber Mill
Located within the Esgair Forest, which was planted over 80 years ago in the heart of the Dyfi Forest, South of Snowdonia National Park ‘The Mill’ space offers a unique location, secluded within 650 acres of Forest.
The building has been empty for 6 years, and was a working timber mill before that, therefore it was designed with HG accessibility in mind, with a large yard space outside, 4 large roller doors, 360 degree private road access, a lot of parking and storage outbuildings surrounding it.
The Mill is equipped with running water, a kitchenette, WC and electricity. The surrounding forest is part of the dyfi bike park, and the bike park is operational from Wed-Sun in Winter, and Thu-Sun in Summer in addition to bank holidays.
There is landrover uplift vehicles and trailers routinely driving past the mill during these times - otherwise, the location is very remote, but functional. The private access road to the main road is a 1.2 mile prepared gravel fire road. Please note, in addition to the mill space, as the forest is privately owned by us, we are able to offer this a location, with drone permits possible too.
We also have a smaller mill next door (30m x 9m), that is available if additional space is required.
