A 1940s themed cocktail bar set inside an abandoned train station.
This charming bar space is made up of three different areas - the Underground, the Ticket Hall and the Signal Station. The Underground is a disused train carriage that has been converted into a restaurant and bar area, completed with carriage-style seats, doors and 1940s decor. The Ticket Hall was a bustling station for busy commuters. With a giant station clock, old split-flap timetables and peeling vintage advertisements, the surviving remnants of the station is a nod towards the space’s former function. Now, the station is layered with mismatched upholstered furniture and frilly lampshades, with tipples served in tins, teacups and all manner of historical props. The Signal Station was the epicentre of this disused train station, and now plays host to roaring parties and live music. Covered in flashing lights, old switchboards, danger-marked levers and webs of wires, this ‘out of bounds’ speakeasy-style area makes the perfect backdrop for filming and photoshoots.
