Our Favourite Commercial London Film Locations
As one of the most established location libraries in the UK, Amazing Space are often asked to give advice on the best film locations in and around London to shoot. We’re lucky to be spoilt for choice with a range of London film locations to suit even the most complex of requirements.
As we’re always asked the questions, we thought a guide would be useful so have hand-picked some of our favourite non-residential and commercial locations, all of them ready for filming and based in London / the Home Counties.

There are a range of locations throughout these areas that never cease to surprise us, whether it is a large industrial warehouse or a concrete water treatment plant. Here at Amazing Space we are proud to represent such a fine array of filming locations. Let us guide you through our favourites below.
IND-045 – The Water Treatment Works
With its imposing structure, interesting shapes and lines, and brutalist concrete, this plant is right up there with our best locations. Based near Chelmsford, Essex, we have helped numerous productions shoot here, ranging from feature films such as World War Z, web series like The Feed, and music videos for bands including Alt-J.

Looming corridors, wide machine rooms and industrial walkways make this a location that is so varied and unique, it is no surprise how popular it is. We are proud to represent the water treatment works and are always so happy to help productions shoot here.

COM-766 – Elegance in Central London
It is always a wonderful surprise to see such large, empty spaces in the very centre of London. We love this beautiful event space, situated in the heart of Marylebone, and the elegance it imbues. A variety of filming takes place here, in particular numerous interviews in one of the many rooms like the library.
Empty rooms with neutral wallpaper and beautiful ceiling design further cement this location as one of our favourites. We love the simple elegance that flows throughout and we hope you do too!
IND-9525 – The Warehouse Complex
One of our newest locations, this warehouse complex (located near Surrey Quays, London) is a hugely varied space that has a number of uses. The potential ranges from expansive empty warehouses (ideal for large set-builds) to more intimate factory-type industrial settings.
Combine these areas with useful production offices and exterior space, and this stunning complex is an ideal location. Plus in such a good geographical location in South East London, it is hard to go wrong with IND-9525.
