On Location with British Vogue
Back in April, Amazing Space had the pleasure of working on a shoot for two iconic brands, British Vogue and Burberry! The shoot was to celebrate the new Autumn/Winter collection and debut by Daniel Lee. Burberry’s history is embedded in ideas of Britishness, old and new, so the location needed to reflect this while still feeling incredibly chic and charming to harmoniously tie in the partnership with Vogue.
The collection was full of quintessentially British themes with a slight punk twist; it included mallard printed skirts and trousers, plenty of colour, the iconic Burberry trench coat and unmistakeable Burberry plaid pattern.
The ideal location was FM-9609 in in Buckinghamshire; a picturesque country estate with rolling hills, woodland, lakes and (if you catch the right time of year) stunning bluebell meadows. The space worked incredibly well for the vision of this shoot; it mirrored the tone of the collection without being overpowering. The natural backdrop of bluebells and farmland really played up to the pastoral, British vibe that so well represents Burberry and Vogue as brands.
There are so many shoot opportunities available to filmmakers and creatives alike at this location, so it's well worth the travel (just over an hour) outside of London to get there.
