Amazing Space in Which? Magazine!
Did you catch Amazing Space in the September edition of Which? Magazine?
The renowned comparison site takes a look into smart ways your home could earn you some additional cash, with one of those ways being opening your doors to film and photography shoots through Amazing Space Locations!
They wrote 'If you've got a gorgeous home, why not bring Hollywood to your hallway and rent out your space to Film and TV production companies? Registration is usually free and popular websites include AmazingSpace.co.uk.'
'In terms of how much you can earn, daily rates will vary depending on the type and length of the production, but can range from less than £1,000 to £3,000. Most of the demand is for large houses with big rooms and good parking, although all types of property have potential, from contemporary conversions to classic period homes. Don't be afraid to haggle on the rate.'
'Although it can be very inconvenient to have a big crew in your house, and for longer shoots you might have to stay in a hotel, the crew often have to leave the home as they found it - which should mean no mess and your walls might even get a new lick of paint.'

RES-8504 has been a shoot location since 2007 and is hugely popular!
Amazing Space Locations has featured in Which? magazine a number of times over the years! Take a look below at another feature a couple of years ago:
'Letting out your home as a film or TV set is perhaps one of the most unusual ways to make money from your home - but it could be the most lucrative, and it's definitely the most glamorous.
Maurice Fleisher, from South Buckinghamshire, lives in a retro 1960s/1970s detached chalet with a garden. He has let out his home for filming and photography since 2007.
'I became self-employed and thought it might be a useful way of boosting my income,' he told Which? Money.'It has been used for major feature films and TV shows, commercials, music videos, independent productions, and fashion magazine shoots.''It shouldn't be undertaken lightly,' he said. 'But I've found it a positive experience because of the income and the opportunity to meet interesting people, including A-list stars.'
'To see your home on the silver screen, get in touch with agencies such as Amazing Space, Lavish Locations, or the BBC's locations department. If they're interested, they'll send someone out to gauge your home's multiplex appeal. How much could I earn? Maurice told us he can earn up to £1,500 a day. But the income is likely to be intermittent, as you won't always have bookings.'
'Keep in mind:renting out your home to a film crew can be intrusive and disruptive. Bigger projects can take a long time, with crews unloading vans of equipment and dressing up your home to their liking before the shoot even begins.
On the bright side, they're obliged to return your property to the way they found it, and should be fully insured to cover any damage.'
We're always on the lookout for new locations that could make excellent TV, Film and Photography shoot locations, so if this sounds like something you'd be interested in then we'd love to see your home!
